President Tatsuya Hosokawa
March 2007
Dear Members
I would like to express my utmost appreciation to all the members of CCIGI (Camera di Commercio e Industuria Giapponese in Italia) for your understanding, continuous support, and participation to various activities of CCIGI.
Since foundation of CCIGI in 1973, we have been successfully operating for 34 years by now. I would like to thank to our predecessor who have grown and maintained the organization. Moreover, I would like to thank to 153 regular members and 40 supporting members, at the point of February 2007, who are now forming and building a history of CCIGI itself.
From the beginning of CCIGI history, we have been operating our activities based on following visions which have never changed:
1. We will act in order to enhance Amity, Commercial Intercourse, and Economic Relation, between Italy and Japan.
2. We will act for the interest of our members, and to cultivate friendship, goodwill collaborations, among the members.
These visions are put in to practice by Board of Directors meeting which is held every month. Ideas of activities are brought up to the Board from Four Committees, Roma Division, Torino Division, and the groups of members which are composed by commercial and industrial companies in same trade. Also, we have “Associazione Giapponese del Nord Italia” as organization of CCIGI.
These activities are introduced through our internet home page, which are opened to all the members and partially to the public.
Through our activities, we will continuously act for the members in order to serve whatever the problems are. We hope, making the most of our function as a bridge to interconnect, to strengthen further relationship between Italy and Japan.
We are always gathering an opinion from the members through our Secretariat Office which is located in Milan. We also appreciate contacts from a people without membership regarding the matters related to CCIGI.
